A new survey found that the majority of American Millennials want to buy a home but feel it’s impossible – with 2 in 5 saying that owning a home is out of the question. Why? 42 percent say they can’t afford it. 33 percent say they don’t think they will ever be able to afford a down payment on a home, and 27 percent say the only way they will ever own a home is through inheritance. 30 percent of Millennials think they have a better shot at landing a date with an A-list celebrity than ever owning a home.
