Miami Commissioners Take Final Vote On Ultra Music Festival

Ultra Music Festival once again the microscope in Miami, after the event is plagued with problems on Virginia Key.

Commissioners are considering bringing the 3-day electronic music festival-- back to Bayfront Park. Chairman Ken Russell says he'd like to bring Ultra back, but only under certain conditions. Ultra would have to allow access to Bayfront Park ahead of the event -plus shorten the hours and agree to noise mitigation. If three of the five commissioners give it the green light- Ultra could return next March. Festival organizers are also talking to Homestead commissioners who have already approved it to be held at the Homestead-Miami Speedway for ten years.
