BOCA RATON, Fla. (CBS12) —Police say a fingerprint on a note passed to a teller by a female bank robber led them to a suspect.
Police arrested 26-year-old Brittney Ruvolo on a charge of robbery on Monday, three days after the robbery at Bank United on North Federal Highway.
Investigators said a woman walked into the bank, passed a teller a note demanding money, and walked out with money.
Detectives said a fingerprint impression identified Ruvolo as a possible suspect. When questioned, she admitted to the crime. She's being held at the Palm Beach County Jail.
