"Sundays will never be the same"
Tampa's Iconic Sunday night party "Ol' Dirty Sundays" celebrated it's 8 year anniversary this past weekend (May 26th) at The Crowbar in Ybor City. Eight years ago a group of djs (DJ Casper, DJ Lesage, DJ Mega, and DJ Blenda) approached Tom De'George (owner of Crowbar, Ybor City) with their vision and the rest is history. (see the documentary posted below). 8 years later, the weekly Sunday party is still going strong with DJ Casper, DJ Fader, and host DJ Deacon, plus multiple guest DJs. It's a music lovers party (Hip Hop, Soul, Funk, Breaks, Reggae, R&B, and pretty much everything else) that draws the crowd every Sunday night, plus atmosphere created by our local artist (shouts to Indy Rock & Artysta LuLu), clothing designer (shouts to Stay Humble clothing), food vendors (shouts to Jam Dish & Flavor Deluxx) and all of the incredible and talented dancers (They make the party jump every week!)
It was sooooo good to see the whole city out to celebrate. It was wall to wall packed inside and out, the the line to get in seemed to never go down. If you got in, you got to witness a great vibe....
Jinx (#arapperwithacamera) was on the scene to capture the evening....
