Lauryn Hill has been busy designing her own clothing line for the past five years. She has now teamed up with the outdoor apparel brand Woolrich to launch American Soul.

The Woolrich FW18 campaign, ‘Woolrich since 1830 - American Soul’, launching July 2018, starring Ms. Lauryn Hill. In collaboration with music legend, Ms. Lauryn Hill, Woolrich launch their campaign for FW18. Launching in conjunction with an exclusive capsule collection of outerwear designed by Ms Hill, the film is shot on location in New York City’s Washington Heights neighbourhood, recalling the famous 1998 ‘Doo Wop/That Thing’ music video.Established in Pennsylvania in 1830, this campaign marks the beginning of a new era for Woolrich that celebrates authentic American creators, innovators and creatives. The campaign will celebrate the Woolrich brand by featuring musicians who’s creative ingenuity is at the heart of American culture. The first instalment of ‘Woolrich since 1830: American Soul’ centres on Ms. Lauryn Hill, one of the defining voices of contemporary American music.The debut campaign features a video of Ms. Lauryn Hill performing ‘Ex-Factor’ which accompanies her own story of what American Soul means to her.
