April 19, 2010 was such a sad day. It's the day the we lost Keith Edward Elam, better known to Hip Hop as Guru of the legendary group Gang Starr. Today would have been the late great MC's 57th birthday. It's only right that we celebrate him.
A few years back, I dug deep into my boxes of old Hip Hop memorabilia and found this Gang Starr Video Press Kit that came out in 1990. WOW! I actually went out and bought some software that would convert the VHS tape to digital format and uploaded it to youtube. This is a must see for any Gang Starr fan:

In 2010, GURU played at the State Thearter here in St Petersburg. I had the pleause of opening up along side my fam DJ Deacon.
