#TampaHipHop History: DJ Fader vs DJ Domination Lets take is back to 1994...
This went down at the Caribbean Jasmine/Tropics building on the corner of Bush Blvd & Nebraska.
My man Rule, who started the Power Moves/Zulu Nation movement here in Tampa was throwing a jam here. DJ Domination was featured to do a showcase. Also on the bill was Tampa's "Lost N Found" Hip Hop crew (Shouts to Uncle Shredded Wheat.) DJ Fader was spinning for them at this time. DJ Domination was up first with his showcase. After Domination did his thing, Lost N Found & DJ Fader were on deck. With Hip Hop being the competitive nature that it is, DJ Fader proudly stepped up to the turntables to flex his skills at the beginning of their set. There was no real beef or battle going here, just two DJ flexing on the turntables like they were supposed to... but you could definitely feel the tension in the air after Fader did his thing.... Shouts, to Ruel, Nick Major, Verionica, DJ Domination, DJ Fader, Uncle Shreeded Wheat and everyone else... I was in the building that night and it was a classic moment in #tampahiphop
