The Sheriff's Office in Escambia County, Florida, has released footage of a brazen shootout that took place in the middle of midday traffic earlier this week - in hopes that it will lead to the capture of a suspect who remains on the loose. One arrest was made in connection with the shooting, which took place at the intersection of W Street and Fairfield Drive in Pensacola, on Monday, January 22. Jeremy Olds, 30, was taken into custody and charged with possession of a firearm by a convicted felon after he wound up exchanging shots with a man by the name of Jonathan Harris, who pulled up in a silver Lexus and began squeezing the trigger as Olds waited on a red light to change in his gold Toyota.A recording of the violent transgression shows Olds stumble out of his car and fire back after Harris let off and then peeled away. Olds had a two-year-old and an eight-year-old child in the backseat during the intense incident. Thankfully, none of the 12 rounds that were traded managed to injure the children, or anyone else caught up in the cross-fire, for that matter.Authorities are yet to have disclosed what they suspect the motive behind the shooting was. Harris is wanted for four counts of aggravated assault and may be facing an attempted murder charge, in addition.
