LARGO -- Starting Thursday, Largo City Hall and all city facilities will be closed to the public. The city says services will be provided online and through e-mail and phone. The Building Division will be virtually open for plan review, permitting and inspections.
Largo Public Library, the city golf course, and all recreation centers are closed, though parks remain open. Visitors are encouraged to use social distancing and not gather in groups of 10 or more. The changes take effect at 8 a.m.
Meantime, Pinellas Park police have shut down their lobby. They're encouraging citizens to call the non-emergency number or file a report online.
