In addition to being the author of the book, Psycho-Academic Holocaust: The Special Education & ADHD Wars Against Black Boys, Dr. Umar Johnson, is a school psychologist & community activist whose ideology is Pan Africanism. Dr. Johnson is in the process of building a private school for boys in Wilmington Delaware called the Frederick Douglass/Marcus Garvey Academy with a curriculum based on African centered principles and beliefs. The ceremony was part of the 1st annual 'FDMG Family Festival', a fundraiser for the academy.
I still don't understand how a wedding to two women ties into to that.
