Paddock's brother Eric Paddock says Stephen Paddock had never given any indication of being unstable or having a desire to hurt people. Eric, who lives near Orlando, says he helped Stephen move from Florida to Nevada two years ago, and that he last heard from his brother in the aftermath of Hurricane Irma. Reportedly, Paddock's father was Patrick Benjamin Paddock, a convicted bank robber who landed on the FBI's Most Wanted List after escaping prison in 1969.
