Search for St Pete Toddler After Mom Found Dead

ST. PETERSBURG, FL-- UPDATE: An Amber Alert has been posted by FDLE for a missing toddler.

Police are asking for tips as they look for a two year old boy, after finding his mother dead in her apartment.

They discovered 20 year old Pashun Jeffery in her apartment at Lincoln Shores on 4th Street North around 2:30 Thursday afternoon, but her son, Taylen Mosley, was nowhere to be found. Police say the toddler could be in danger.

Holloway says officers performed a welfare check and discovered Jeffery's body, and a violent crime scene. He says it's "all hands on deck" for officers and detectives. "We want to find Taylen. That's our main goal... we want to bring this child home."
