Bruins Stay Hot With Win Over Lightning

The Boston Bruins (17-2-0) defeated the Tampa Bay Lightning (11-7-1) 5-3 on Monday night at Amalie Arena. It was the seventh consecutive win for Tampa Bay.

Tied 1-1 after the first period, the Bruins used a three-goal second to take charge in this game. Nick Paul had two goals - one in the first and one in the third that pulled Tampa Bay within 5-3 - but that would be as close as the Lightning would get as they saw their four game winning streak snapped.

The Lightning are now off until Friday when they host the St. Louis Blues at Amalie Arena. Puck drop between the Lightning and Blues is scheduled for 8:00 PM on November 25th.
