SZA's New Album Is 'Coming Soon' — Get All The Details

SZA fans get ready because new music is coming "soon as f**k!" (Her words, not mine)

The "All the Stars" singer revealed the big news during an interview with Kerwin Frost. Over the course of the hour-long discussion, SZA spoke about hitting the studio with Justin Timberlake recently and possibly working on a collab with the hitmaker for her upcoming album.

"Before I was like, ‘What the f**k am I doing in the studio with Justin Timberlake right now? This is crazy,'” she admitted. "But when I heard his music and we started singing together… It’s like, ‘Oh, we speak the same language. The same frequency.’ Our ears speak the same language. I understood where he was going before he could finish a run."

As for other possible guest appearance on the follow-up to her 2017 debut album Ctrl, SZA said she's hit the studio with Post Malone, BROCKHAMPTON, and Jack Antonoff, to name a few, so really anything is possible.

Last month, SZA told fans that she's planning to release a smaller project prior to dropping her sophomore album. "True tea, I’m probably gonna drop like a little project before my album so I can just get it out of the way," she said during the Melbourne stop of her Australia tour. "Because realistically speaking, if you leave it up to my foolish ass, it will be here in quite some time."

Back in December, the "Supermodel" singer teased fans with a snippet of an unreleased song shared to her Instagram. The track played in the background as SZA videotaped the road while driving a car. "Riding w new thoughts," she captioned the 35-second video.

On the track, SZA sang: "You should have stuck to the script. I'm tired of being sweet. I'm tired of being sweet. So baby brace yourself..."
