On Tuesday, Kendrick Lamar met with Louis Farrakhan, the leader of the Nation of Islam.
Farrakhan posted the pictures to his Instagram, writing, "I was very honored to meet and talk with my powerful brother and Hip-Hop artist Kendrick Lamar. The Cultural Revolution is On."
Farrakhan said something similar in 2016, when he praised the rapper in a speech.
"Kendrick Lamar set a new standard, he freed rappers to come on up," Farrakhan said to members of the Nation of Islam, "When the rappers are free to say it like it is... the cultural revolution is on."
Earlier in the day on Tuesday, Lamar revealed the title and tracklist of his upcoming album, DAMN.
