At least originally she was real. Her name is Susan Bennett, and she’s been doing voice acting for quite some time. She has done a few tech infused voices, like the ’tilly the teller’, the 1st ATM machine. And Susan reveals the voice for Siri was recorded back in 2005, for the whole month of July, and from there Apple has built out Siri and 1st Presented her in 2011. Wow, that means they were thinking about Siri before the iPhone even launched!!
