Lupe Fiasco is clearing the air over his recent hiatus from Twitter. Earlier this week, reports surfaced saying the rapper's management had seized control of his Twitter account because of questionable tweets about Marxism.
The rapper interrupted his recess from the micro-blogging website to write that he didn't get "kicked off Twitter" by his managers. Instead, Lupe says he left his account in the hands of his management team so he could concentrate on recording.
He also took a shot at the media, saying some journalists need to do better research before they "dive off the deep end" with a story.
I left it to mgmt so I can record etc without arguing with 15 year olds about if show goes on was on my first album or not...— Lupe Fiasco (@LupeFiasco) May 15, 2013
