ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. (970 WFLA) – There’s been another rash of auto burglaries in St. Pete.

Police say this time the crimes happened in the Causeway Isles neighborhood along the 8000 block of 12th Avenue South.

Police say it happened just before 1 a.m. Tuesday. Police say the suspect is described as a w/m, 25-35, wearing a light striped polo shirt, light colored khaki dress pants and dark shoes, entered several unlocked vehicles and in one instance took a purse and briefcase.

Officials released video (above) from a home surveillance camera that capture video of the suspect.

Just a few days ago, police said a rash of burglaries happened in the historic Old Northeast neighborhood. 18 reported cases came to police from June 30-July 25. You can read more about that story by clicking here.
