Details are emerging about the public viewing for rapper Chris Kelly. According to TMZ.com, on Wednesday friends, family and fans were received at the Murray Brothers Funeral Home in Atlanta with Kris Kross' smash hit "Jump."
Surrounding Kelly's casket were numerous photos of Kelly with his Kris Kross partner Chris Smith. The service was reportedly open casket and Kelly was dressed in a black suit and a pink tie. On a poster hanging inside the casket was a verse from the Kris Kross track "Warm It Up."
A funeral for Chris Kelly will take place today at Atlanta's Jackson Memorial Baptist Church at 2:00 p.m. Eastern time. Chris Kelly passed away last Wednesday after he was found unresponsive at his Atlanta home.
An autopsy revealed that there were no signs of trauma or foul play. Drugs are suspected to have played a part in his death, but authorities are awaiting the results of a toxicology report before declaring a cause of death.
